What exactly is accent and clarity coaching?

Accent and clarity coaching helps you speak English more clearly, confidently, and naturally. I focus on pronunciation, rhythm, stress, intonation, and the small habits that make communication smoother at work and in daily life. The goal is not to remove your accent but to help you be easily understood and feel comfortable speaking.

Who do you work with?

I work with international professionals from all language backgrounds who use English at work. Many of my clients are in tech, healthcare, business, education, research, public-facing roles, and leadership positions.

How long does it take to notice improvement?

Most people begin noticing positive changes within 2–4 weeks with regular practice. Larger, lasting improvements usually develop over several months depending on goals and practice time.

Do you change or eliminate my accent?

No. The goal is not to remove your accent. Your accent is part of who you are. I focus on clarity, pronunciation, stress, pacing, and fluency so your message is understood while you keep your identity.

What’s the difference between 1:1, 1:2, and small group programs?

Personalized 1:1 coaching is fully individualized. The Learn-With-a-Friend (1:2) option is semi-private for two learners. Small group classes are structured to build clarity, rhythm, and confidence with peer practice. Session formats are available in 25- or 50-minute lengths.

How do I know which program is right for me?

Book a free 30-minute consultation and we’ll discuss your goals, background, and which program will work best. It’s a no-pressure conversation to help you choose.

Do you offer assessments for individuals and employers?

Yes. I provide in-depth speech clarity assessments that are available to individuals and employers. The report identifies areas to improve and can be used for professional development or workplace training decisions.

Do you offer corporate classes?

Yes. Corporate classes for developing a more neutral Canadian/American (General American) accent and improving team communication are available upon request. Please message me with the needs of your staff.

Do you offer coaching for people emigrating to Canada?

Yes. I teach the sounds, rhythm, pace, and word-stress patterns of Canadian English so conversations feel easier and more familiar when you arrive in Canada.

Can I use these programs as a tax deduction?

Self-employed: Check with your tax professional about claiming coaching as an employment or business expense. Employee: If the training maintains or upgrades skills you use at work, consult your employer or a tax professional about whether the cost can be included on your T4 or W-2. Assessments are available for both individuals and employers.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Personalized classes (25 or 50 minutes) require 30 minutes notice via email to cancel. Personalized programs (6- or 12-week) require 30 minutes notice. Refunds are pro-rated with terms noted on the site (a small cancellation fee may apply after a certain number of sessions). Please see the Cancellation Policy page for details.
